For a foreign company coming to Canada, the real trouble is often not incorporation day but all the small things in the years that follow: how to keep the books, when to file taxes, how to send money home in compliance with the rules, and how to document dealings with the parent company. Sheng Qian CPA takes all of this on from start to finish, so the parent company only needs to deal with one team.

About the fees: The amounts above are in CAD and before HST. A "from" price is the starting point for common situations. Transaction volume, foreign currency, cross-border filings, related-party transactions, shadow payroll, technical reports, rush timelines and similar factors add to the work. The actual fee is as set out in the written quote before work begins; if the work goes beyond what was agreed, we explain first and continue only once you confirm. T106, transfer pricing reports, SR&ED technical reports and legal documents are not included in the T2 starting price.

Why use one team for everything

You don't have to pass on the same information three times. The share structure, directors and fiscal year set at incorporation directly affect later bookkeeping, tax filing and withholding. With one team from start to finish, you don't have to explain everything again each time you change service providers.

Someone keeps track of the deadlines. HST, Payroll, T2, NR4 and T106 all run on different timelines. We lay them out for the year and send reminders in advance, so there is someone following up even when the parent company is overseas and unfamiliar with the Canadian calendar. Providing information on time and confirming filings remain the legal responsibility of the company and its directors.

We can talk to both sides. Our team has a CPA background and can communicate in Chinese with the parent company's finance staff and owners, and in English with the CRA, banks and lawyers.
