A compilation engagement is the most common financial statement service for small and owner-managed businesses. We compile your financial statements from the information you provide, under Canadian Standard on Related Services (CSRS) 4200, which replaced the former "Notice to Reader" (Section 9200) in December 2021.
What you receive
- Financial statements prepared on a basis agreed with you and disclosed in the statements
- A Compilation Engagement Report (no assurance is expressed)
- Corporate tax return (T2) and GIFI schedules prepared from the same records, if required
